2024 Lay Bodhisattva Precepts Transmission Ceremony at Chung Tai Chan Monastery
|
On October 10, 2024, 4,000 devoted practitioners gathered at Chung Tai Chan Monastery to receive the lay bodhisattva precepts—a pivotal milestone on the path to Buddhahood. Over the following three days, preceptees engaged deeply in the teachings of Venerable Master Jianying. The ceremony concluded with a collective resolve to benefit all sentient beings and aspire toward supreme enlightenment.

On October 9, 2024, Vice Rector Phramaha Surasak Prajantasen and a delegation from Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University visited Chung Tai Chan Monastery. Strengthening Mahayana-Theravada collaboration, they discussed topics including Dharma exchange, resource sharing, and education support, fostering deeper ties in global Dharma propagation.
