From August 14th to 21st, 2024, Ocean Sky Chan Monastery embarked on their annual pilgrimage to Chung Tai. Hoisting luggage filled with delicious Filipino delicacies to offer to the sangha, they came with sincere hearts and found deep inspiration on the bodhi path.

In other words, she discovered how to apply prajna wisdom in order to thrive.

In this story, the Buddha explains his sole purpose for appearing in the world—to guide sentient beings away from the suffering of samsara, to transform the doubts and confusion in their minds. Thus, taking refuge in the Buddha is like finding a doctor to remove the poisonous arrow of afflictions lodged in our hearts.
