Upholding the compassionate vow of the Founding Abbot Grand Master Weichueh to propagate Buddhadharma and Chan teachings far and wide, Venerable Abbot Jianying embarked on a Dharma propagation journey to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, from March 16th to 18th, 2025, in response to the earnest requests of devout lay practitioners.
During his visit, Venerable Master Jianying presided over the Liang Huang Jeweled Repentance Completion Ceremony and the Three Refuges and Five Precepts Transmission Ceremony at Great Buddha Monastery and delivered a Dharma talk to all participants. Hundreds of devoted practitioners, including both Chinese and Thai devotees, gathered joyfully to attend the assembly, with nearly a hundred laypeople sincerely seeking to receive the Three Refuges and Five Precepts.
In celebration of the two-year anniversary of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU) and Chung Tai Chan Monastery, Venerable Abbot Jianying and Most Venerable Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, the Rector of MCU, jointly presided over the "Mahayana and Theravada Buddhism Mutual Exchange & World Peace Blessing Ceremony" at Great Buddha Monastery.
At the university's invitation, Venerable Master Jianying also visited the campus to officiate the inauguration ceremony of the newly renovated graduate studies program classroom of Dhammaduta College, sponsored by Chung Tai Chan Monastery, and delivered a Dharma talk to the university's student monks.
Embarking on a far-reaching mission to spread the Dharma in Thailand, Venerable Abbot Jianying nourished the minds of overseas Buddhist disciples with the cooling waters of wisdom and fostered a deeper exchange and collaboration between Mahayana and Theravada Buddhism. As the Dharma rain falls upon all and the Dharma's voice resonates throughout the world, may the Dharma seeds spread far and wide, taking root wherever they land.

Venerable Master Jianying remarked on the achievements of the two-year exchange between Chung Tai Chan Monastery and Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding. He expressed his hope for continued cooperation between Mahayana and Theravada Buddhism, enabling the light of the Dharma to illuminate the world.
